Check whether the sign-out affects just one device or your whole account.
Having to enter your password every time you open a TV app is frustrating, but it does not always mean your account has been hacked. The cause may be app storage, device time or a provider security rule.
Try this first
Work through these checks in order. Stop once the problem is resolved.
- 1Log in through the official website to verify the account.
- 2Check TV storage, system date and app updates.
- 3Review service device limits and login sessions.
- 4Change your password if you spot unfamiliar activity.
Check if the account is affected elsewhere
Open the same service on your phone or its official website. If every device is signed out, check for an account-wide password reset or service notice. If only the television is affected, focus on that device. Do not repeatedly reset your password until you understand the pattern.
Look for storage and maintenance settings
Some TVs clear application data when running low on storage or after an automatic clean-up. Removing app data or reinstalling an app also removes saved sign-in information. Check whether an optimisation or cleaner feature has been activated, and make some free storage space.
Check updates, system time and account limits
Update the application and TV software. An incorrect device clock may interfere with time-limited sign-in tokens; enable automatic date and time where supported. Some platforms require occasional reauthentication or limit the number of devices, so review the service’s official account settings.
Protect the account without making things worse
If you see unknown devices, unexpected password emails or suspicious logins, change the password through the official service and enable available security controls. Avoid sharing screenshots containing login tokens or credentials when requesting support.
Do not share full login details with unofficial support accounts.
